This valve is a flangeless wafer type in which a rubber seat is fitted into the whole inside surface of its body.
“MONOTIGHT” is a trade name of KURIMOTO wafer type butterfly valve.
Major advantages are its relatively simple construction, compact configuration and light weight.
It is easy to install, no flange gasket is required, it operates without lubrication and offers minimum flow resistance.
